Glee

This branding project works around building a strong design for my own practice. I found this project almost more challenging than designing for a client as I find restrictions helpful for decision making but this project was also the most enjoyable nonetheless.

My aim for this project was to play on the meaning of ‘glee’ as my first initial in front of my last name quite humorously forms this word. Hence I wanted the designs to be playful and experimental as a nod toward the meaning of glee and also as a summary of my practice and my commonly experimental and colourful designs.

I first started with a logo design that works around the idea of my signature which has always been quite simple and childlike. It is designed to be used in most formats from letters to a website or social media. Simple and versatile.
